There’s nothing I love more than a good book. Actually, that’s not true,
there are a lot of things I love more, but it’s pretty high up there on the
things I love list. Recently I discovered a local gem of a bookshop by
accident. It’s more of a book/coffee shop hybrid. They serve the usual coffee,
tea, and pastries on one side of the store and the other side is a used
bookshop. I have to restrict myself on the amount of trips I make here cause I
could literally spend an hour just sifting through the shelves. Books range
from 1-4 dollars and you could discover some of the latest releases or copies
of classics. As much as I love feeling the pages of a brand new book, I love
reading through a used one just as much. I find there’s more character to the
books when they’ve been previously loved. This trip I limited myself to 6
books, mostly because my arms couldn’t handle carrying anymore. The vibe here
is super chill and very relaxing. It’s not overcrowded or stuffy or formal.
There’s an artistic air about the café and there’s even a piano you could play
if you’re ever feeling in the mood. Also there’s free wifi, and isn’t that what
everyone’s searching for these days?
Maybe one of these will even end up being one of my favorites.
